Rare Tortoise Shell Salt Shaker

A collector reports finding this rare shaker. It did not appear in the Lechner’s series of books nor did it did appear in Peterson. This is one that the club will have to name. It is reported to have the same dimensions as Concave Thumbprint by the Hobbs, Brockunier & Company that is shown in Lechner II, p 100 and appears to be the same mold.

However, this newly found shaker is a gorgeous tortoise shell glass, with no inside thumbprints!

Obviously, the name Concave Thumbprint does not apply!
