Plume Panel in Blue Opalware

A collector reports that they have just found this rare shaker. The shaker was only previously known in decorated opalware. Here it is in Blue Opalware (known as Blue Milk glass to some). The shaker (opalware let alone any color) has to be considered as fairly rare. A companion shaker, “Feather Panel”, was shown in Peterson and earlier by Warman who named it. This shaker was named by the AAGSSCS as number SS#25. How exciting it is to still find rare and unreported shakers. Who would have ever believed that this shaker was made in colored glassware.
