Iris with Meander Salt Shaker

This shaker was made by the Jefferson Glass company, circa 1903. The OMN was “Iris.” “Iris with Meander,” the name used today, is a Kamm name. Pictured aboved is a very rare amber opalescent. Heacock, in Book II, noted that he had only seen a few “odd shapes” in amber opalescent. He believed that it was an experimental color.
