Curved Body Salt Shaker in Opaque Pink
A collector reports that they have just found this rare New Martinsville “Curved Body” shaker in opaque pink. Note also the picture with the Scroll Two Band shaker. The color match is so close it probably means that both were made about the same time. This shaker is normally found in decorated opalware. Only one other colored example is known. A pale turquoise or light green opaque. (See the New Martinsville Glass by James Measel, p 102).
The rare exciting shakers can still be found! So keep looking!
