2002 AAGSSCS Convention – Corning, New York
Annual Convention 2002 was held in Corning, N.Y., July 25-28, 2002 at the Radisson Hotel Corning (located on historic Market Street in downtown Corning). A “behind the scenes” tour of the museum, with lectures and demonstrations by the staff at Corning were included. The Corning Museum of Glass is home to the world’s most comprehensive glass collection and number over 35,000 objects spanning thirty-five hundred years of glass making. Other sites to see around Corning in addition to the beautiful country of the Finger Lakes Region of upstate New York, are the Finger Lakes Wineries, National Soaring museum, The National War Plane Museum and the Glen Curtis Museum.
