The Shaker is in the form of an upright egg. It came is a very wide variety of decorations, and the quality of those decorations varies considerably.

Decoration: Numerous Hand Painted Designs, mostly florals. Non floral decors include portraits, Delft, Brownies and others.
Shape: Egg
Colors Known: Opalware (white). Usually Sanitized but has been found in a shiny finish
Size: Various: 2 1/8″ Tall, 2-1/4″ Tall

A catalog cut of this shaker can be found at eapgs.org. Eggs came in slightly different shapes and sizes. Not all Egg Shakers came with dome tops. The shakers with the dome tops have a much shorter thread area versus the shakers that took normal tops. This shaker came in various sizes and shapes, but current thought is that they are all Mt. Washington Production. They were likely sold to decorating companies which would explain the range of decorations and the quality of those decorations. Am example of this is the use of a transfer design, which Mt. Washington was not known to use.
