Special Comments:

Pillar/Creased Neck shakers are difficult to identify the manufacturer, as most manufactures during this period made them for themselves, as well as “Blanks” (undecorated Opalware), that were sold to Decorating Companies or other glass manufacturers, who then decorated them in their own designs. The same designs can be found on different Manufactures Blanks. These can be found in numerous sizes. Some have been Identified by designs of the buildings from the 1893 Worlds Fair, where Mt. Washington had a display. The shape of the shoulder that slopes to the body is different from other Creased Neck Shakers. Size is critical in identifying these shakers, so a calipers will be extremely helpful in measurements. See SSNO1289a for a photo of where to take measurements. Tolerances are within 2-3mm. These shakers can be found in different manufactures silverplate caddys.
